Sulo Krishnamurthy:
A graduate with Masters in Chemistry and Microbiology, Sulo worked in
pharmaceutical research for 17 years in Canada. She grew up with 2
siblings afflicted with degenerative Muscular Dystrophy and yet saw
them shine in their chosen careers - Sankara Raman CA, Hon. Secretary of Amar
Seva Sangam and Dr.Sumathi, a Professor and Head of the Dept. in a University.
It has been Sulo's dream to help the rural poor and
illiterate with education and transform their "Disability" into "Ability". Her
empathy finally found an expression in 1992 when she started Handi-Care International
- motivated by two extraordinary men who from their wheelchairs
conceived and built Amar Seva Sangam.
Meena Suppiah:
has lived in many countires namely UK,
India, SIngapore, Brunei , Canada and US with roots in South India ..She
currently works for IBM Canada. Meena has been a volunteer & supporter
of HCI since 1998 and joined the board in 2000. She has closely worked
with all HCI's projects at the sites. Her entire family has volunteered
at Amar Seva Sangam.
Srini Srinivasan:
Srini B. Srinivasan is a management professional with over 40 years of business
experience in Canada, Brunei and India. Currently he is serving as a business
consultant to industries. He has served the community by volunteering his time
to various causes. With a penchant for managing projects, he has helped many
organizations achieve their goals. He holds a Graduate degree in Engineering
from the Institution of Engineers. He was elected during the sixties to M.I.E.
(Member of the Institution of Engineers). He is a Certified Project Management
Profession and Certified Information Systems Auditor.
Sundra Rajan: Has been with HCI since
1997. His profession as an accountant has been an invaluable asset.
Arun Luthra C.A: Joined HCI in 2002.
Gita Sankaran:
Balan moved to
Canada in 2000 after having lived in Europe for many years. He became
involved with Handicare in 2003 and has always been a strong supporter
of needy causes. He visited Amar Seva Sangam in 2005 and had a chance
to see first hand all the good work that is being done in India . He
is determined to help the less fortunate and feels privileged to be on
the board of Handicare Intl.

P. Sankaran:
Sankaran is a management professional with over 30 years of multinational
industrial experience covering developing and developed countries
alike. Currently he serves as Chairman of the Board in two companies, and as
Director on the Board of 8 industrial enterprises and institutions (including 2 publicly quoted companies in Jamaica). Sankaran has been actively
involved in community services especially in developing countries
and has held, in the past, executive positions in managing committees of several
community based organizations. Currently, in Toronto, he serves as
an executive committee member of MACA - a South Indian community
organization. Sankaran has been recently inducted into the Board of
Handi-Care Intl.. Sankaran holds an Engineering degree in Electronics (B. Tech)
from IIT Madras, India, an MBA degree from Indian Institute of Management
(Ahmedabad). He is also an associate of Chartered Management Accountants (CMA)
from U.K.
