Mavuthu has with been Amar Seva Sangam  since age 5 and has shown remarkable progress, thanks to Nargiz's sponsorship. She has successfully completed Phase 1 & Phase 2 rehab (72% improvement since Jan 2007) and discharged to her family. She attends PMRC - Parents Managed Respite Centre programs and manages her personal needs well. Hence the sponsorship has been transferred to an young deserving child - T. Parameswari

P. Mohamed Mavuthu is the daughter of Birmohamed and Maideenfathima.  Her father, Birmohamed works as a coolie and has studied up to grade two.  Her mother has received no formal education and is a housewife.  Per month, the family can anticipate a salary of 500-1500 rupees.

Mavuthu's Personal, Social and Academic Skills have improved greatly. This would not be possible without the help of her generous sponsor.
