the parents offer their heartfelt gratitude to Raj Kandiah for his
generosity and kind heartedness.
Ramesh has currently been integrated into the regular school system and
is in the fourth grade. He receives additional instruction from a
teaching assistant, who often spends two weeks with Ramesh for each
lesson or concept to be attained. Ramesh’s parents are also receiving
counseling from Amar Seva Sangam in order to help them train Ramesh to
become more independent. Long-term goals for Ramesh includes further
training in activities of pre-vocational and the introduction of shapes,
money, time, basic literacy and numeracy.
