Birth History:                                  No Consanguinity. First child, normal  

                                                    delivery. Attended by an Ayah. The child 

                                                    was born blue. Did not cry immediately.  

                                                    Taken to the Govt. Hospital and was kept

                                                    in an Incubator for a week. All milestones

                                                    were delayed.

 

Condition of the Child on admission:

The child’s speech is age appropriate. Not able to walk. Sits without support. Walks with support. The legs scissor while walking. Indicates his toileting need. He needs help for all his daily routine activities. Very adamant. He is being fed by the mother.

 

Training given in Nesam:

Passive stretching, weight bearing exercises, developing equilibrium stability, squatting, walking training with a Rollator are given to facilitate his walking independently.

Education is given in order for the child to:

· To eat on his own

· Does not need speech therapy.

·  To identify basis colors.

·  To identify common objects, fruits & vegetables.

·  Match colors and shapes

· To scribble on a slate with a chalk.

· To color with in lines using crayons.

·  To improve his eye, hand co-ordination.

·  Introducing to numbers (1 & 2)
