Medical History:

 He was born in a caesarian operation.  He got a fever at the time of birth, which lasted for a week.  After 8 months, he was diagnosed as mentally retarded.  Now he is under Homeopathy medicines.  Nowadays, he gets fits often.

 

Training Given at Nesam School:

He is given physiotherapy exercises for hand movement, to hold something and to feel the objects.  Light is shown in his eyes and this improves the movement of his eyeballs.  Sounds of some animals and birds are made to attract his attention. Activities of daily life are being taught.  The urge for toileting is made to feel. Since he cannot sit, it is difficult for him to eat solid food.  He is made to sit by folding his hands and making the body for a horizontal posture.  His neck is not strong enough to support his head. Foot-therapy is given by making him stand on his feet for a short time.
