He met an accident in 1993. After 1 year his condition became worse resulting in severe bed sores. His friends advised and took him to GH, Chennai. Here he was diagnosed for puss infection in his spinal chord and operated upon his spine at T4 to T10 level. |

Poor sitting balance, Bed ridden, unable to stand, Dependent in transfers and mobility, Weakness in both upper limbs, Unable to work due to physical limitations. |
Trunk balance (Forward & Backward weight shifting) was improved, Walking with support of caliper and walker for 50 mts a day. Standing balance also improved, Able to do all transfer activities inside and outside bed without anyone’s support, Improved strength in upper limbs allows him to transfer and perform activities of daily living, Trained in computer DTP course, Cell phone repair service, Home appliances repair service and Computer Hardware also. |
He is doing Cellphone and Home appliances service at his home, and planning to establish one Service Center at his town. |

We completed surgery of his bladder & Kidney Stone removal on Jan – 2011.Hand muscle strength was improved. Tightness in both legs reduced, He can propel wheel chair for 500 metre a day. Sitting balance, in bed and in wheelchair also much improved, He was fully independent in all daily activities, He was trainned in canning of chair and cot, weaving of basket and in tailoring work. |
He is doing weaving of basket, canning of chair and cot at his home. |

Plastic surgery Was done at Madurai Govt.Hospital for his bed sore. All bed sores are healed, Muscle strength in both hands improved, Hip alignment was corrected by proper positioning and support, Health is improved by food supplementation, He was trained MS-OFFICE computer course. |

He can do all hand activity without any support. He was trained in weaving of basket, canning of chair and cot and some handicraft work. |
